Katherine West - Portfolio 

Cookie West Boutique opened in St Martins Square in Leicester in early September 2004, first specialising in bra fitting, lingerie, hosiery, nightwear and swim & beachwear. It moved to larger premises in nearby Loseby Lane in August 2006. Sharing a 3 story Victorian building with two Holistic Therapists, Cookie West was able to expand, also offering ranges of sports bras and clothing, womenswear, maternity and mastectomy wear and to provide an alterations, adaptations and repair service. Regular 'Shopping & Pamper Evenings' were hosted and once a year a Charity Fundraising Catwalk Fashion Show event was organised. In August 2011 the city centre Boutique was closed and in the September, Cookie West Showroom & Party Plan opened in Stoneygate. Individuals or small groups could experience a private, personalised shopping experience to find perfect fitting contour garment, either at the Showroom or through Parties held at customers homes.

 

Cookie West Boutique & Showroom employed a range of ethical and sustainable approaches to retail buying, customer services, product design & manufacture and promotion & display.
